This set is to upgrade your 03-06 E-Class with Xenon headlights as well as a front facelift with 07-09 style headlights. Comes with 6000k Xenon bulbs and ballasts.
I bought these and never installed them. A week later bought a 06 CLK500 so I'm currently in the process of selling my E320. I got them for $449.95 online. I'm looking to get something close to that since this set is brand new.
$450 Shipped OBO

These look like standard halogen housings, with 6000K bulbs to me. I don't see any ballast/ignitor anywhere on there.
For reference, my 2004 Bi-Xenon, active curving headlamps are $1500 a piece.
Here's a thread for the real deal. Notice the ballasts?

These are replica lights, that's why they plug into the 03-06 models without modification. This explains the price.
The OP states that they come with ballasts but unless he installed the ballasts themselves, they also require the use of the oem ballast ( it's not included when purchased new, or it normally isn't anyways ). I guess he can clear that up.
I myself may take these if I can make my mind up today...lol.

This product was for halogen upgrade to Xenon. I'm not positive if they work with factory Xenon headlights. They could, I just don't know enough about it to make a concise judgement.
The images above are before the bulbs and ballasts from the website. The images below are the headlights as I have them with the bulbs and ballasts. I have not installed anything additional. This is how they came and should be everything you need for the Xenon upgrade from halogen.

I contacted where I got these and their exact response was "The size and shape will fit, but the wiring needs to be modified to fit on the with factory xenon model. Basically matching the wire of pin that has certain features associated with it to the wire from the car accordingly."
So it looks like you can use them, you just need someone to install them who knows more about the wiring than any average person. Hope that helps.

Can I get a little clarification on these?
I have a 2005 E320 with the halogen headlights. Are these plug and play and I will then have Xenon lights? Anyone else need to be done other than remove the old lights and install these in their place? Thanks.

Replacing the headlight units can be a little complicated since it involves removing the front bumper. You can DIY though. I installed an E55 bumper by myself on my E320 but it will take a few hours. Instructions can be found online on this forum.
Hope that helps.
