FS: W203 OEM Bi-Xenon Custom Black Headlights
I have a set of used W203 OEM Bi-Xenon headlamps that are custom painted black. The Driver's side igniter started failing (occasional shutoff, and delayed light up), so I used a morimoto D2S ballast instead of repairing it.
You'll need bulbs, and a single d2s ballast, to use these. Or you can choose to repair the igniter with the TSB kit for sale at mercedes. The aftermarket ballast direction is much cheaper.
I'm looking to get $700 for them + shipping. I am located in San Jose, CA.
Here are photos of the driver side:

@Jay_Soprano: I didn't take apart the w203 headlights, as I bought them already painted. However, I did remove the lenses from my w211 headlights to do a projector swap, I wrote a post about it, I assume its pretty similar to that process, only you would sand and paint the shroud/housing. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/452888-halogen-projector-headlight-hid-retrofit-evo-x-r.html

@andrew_c230k: Yeah I was pretty sure it was the ignitor, as the light would occasionally take as many as 45 seconds to turn on. Sometimes it would flick on and then off, and i'd have to turn the lights off and back on again to get it to have a consistent beam. (Xenon=present was set on my car so that isn't the problem). Installing the morimoto ballast fixed it.
, would be an interesting project car, though parts are still crazy expensive. I just took a look at ebay, and OEM bi-xenon lights sell for $500-900 used ($1100+ new) for EACH headlight, so this is a deal for both for $600 + shipping, plus these are custom painted, one-of-a-kind.
I've received some lowball $500 shipped offers, please don't bother messaging me if that's the case, I'd rather throw them in the trash than sell them for $500 shipped, just to spite you (though they can collect dust on my shelf indefinitely instead).
