Indicator housing cracked, what to do?

Hi all,
G580 owner here. I'm in London, UK.
A delivery cyclist decided to somehow ride his ebike straight into my parked car last night in the rain.

The car is a bit dirty but seems completely fine on the body, immaculate almost! The PPF really did it's job and hot water got rid of all of the scratches.
One issue though is that my indicator housing is cracked. Not sure what to do, I'm going to sellotape it as a temporary measure to stop water getting in, and although it's not too visible, I would like to get it fixed.
MB have said I'd need to book it in for a repair and cant quote me until then (3 weeks from now) but have said I should expect to pay around £1200/$1500 which feels steep.
I'm happy to give it a go myself but can only find the housings for the older G class online, same for the instructions.
  1. Has anyone done this before?
  2. How much should i expect to pay for the part and where from?
  3. How hard is the job? Should I even bother?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I've said I'd want to get the grille changed to either the G63 grille or the EQG light grill at some point so this would be first touch toward that.

From the picture, it doesn't even look like it broke from a specific impact. Have you tried to see if MB would cover it under warranty?
