carbon fiber & suede interior
I have an 04 G55 and I want to do a carbon overlay to the wood trim pieces. Has anyone had luck with doing this? I went down to Brabus in Orange County and they pretty much don't do anything. Everything gets sent to Germany. I'm sure someone here can do it. Any suggestions? One of the engineers in the office thinks I should do it myself (with his help of course. he's a techy porche guy).
I also want to suede the headliner and door panels. Has anybody done that? I'm considering doing it myself. Anyone forsee huge difficulty? I'm going to put in new speakers so I figured I'm half way to changing out the door panels. With the new headliner I'm going to stain the gray plastic parts black. Has anyone done that or have a reference for doing it?
Any pics or advice would be great.
Thanks,

not sure if you got anywhere with this - i have a good guy locally (eastside) that can do the interior work - CF can be ordered from MB (Barrier or down in Or - it's worth shopping around for the prices once you get the part numbers)

Ill post some pics tomorrow of the G55 that we just did the headliner and interior for. You pretty much have to take out the whole interior including the seats to do it.
