Is there any way to fit Xenons on a 2003 G?
G55WGN:
"I am looking for a custom setup for my 03 MB G55. The vehicle currently has 9003 bulbs and I would be okay with just using your plug and play kit but I DO NOT want to lose the high beam function. Can you make a housing to fit my G55 that can contain both high and low stage II beams and if so what is the apprx. cost for that. Any information that you can provide me with
would be appreciated."
hids4less.com:
"we can do a setup with both high and low beam on the g55 similar to the h2 bi xenon setup (see www.hids4less.com) a g wagon setup for that truck will run you about 2500.00 and we can have it done in about 3 weeks"
The setup that he is referring to consists of them actually making a custom housing to fit the G. This is NOT a "plug and play" system with only bulbs and ballasts.
I have not ordered mine yet, if any of you are interested maybe we could try to do some sort of group buy with them to possibly get the price cheaper.

You could buy projector bixenons for a W203 ($1000 or less), gut them, then cut a hole in the back of your existing H4 lights and mount the projectors there. If you don't want to cut up your headlights, buy a new pair to keep and then cut yours up. You're still at under $1400.
I already have HIDs on my G500, so I am not in any hurry to do this mod, although I've already got myself a pair of projectors. I am just waiting to get off my butt and get another pair of the headlights.
