Best place to buy Rotors and pads??
Is there a web site to get OEM pads and rotors? Im not a big fan of stealerships... The BMW community uses realoem.com... im wondering if there is something similar for Benz.
Truck is a 2007 G55.

Make sure you have your VIN handy. Since they have direct access to the mb factory parts system they will know if there is an update or improvement to a factory part. Jay is very careful to get you the genuine part the first time. Let them know your are from mbworld.

Unbelievable how much people are charging for rotors for this truck. 245 a piece. So far the dealer has had the best price for pads and rotors. Kinda strange.........1,050 for everything.. including sensors.

Eh, I've bought these rotors from brakeperformance.com. Not an AMG, but I've been pleased with the results and price I got for my slotted and dimpled rotors from them. Paid a total of around 500 including semi-metallic pads and shipping for all 4 corners.

Axle number?

Where or how do I find this axle number on my truck?

arly model rear brake disc for use up to rear axle number R 119848, which would be during the 2001 model year. Late model rear brake disc for use after rear axle number R 119849, which would be during the 2003 model year.
Based on this, you are early model. I'm pretty sure this is right, but don't quote me 100%. It was accurate for me and I assume since you are 2002 it's a pretty clear cut answer.

You can get a Vehicle Data Card for your truck with the serial numbers for all the major components.
Or email your VIN to me; and I'll get it for you.
