Pricing for a Brand New G?
I realized this is the only forum that I am a part of that does not discuss deals. I have been shopping around for a new G550, but am keen on waiting for the 2013.
However, out curiosity I am wondering how much you guys are paying for your 2012 G550's?
I see the MSRP is $107,975 and invoice is $100,500. Are any of you getting close to invoice? If so, who and where can I order from?

2013 G550
I've ordered the 2013 G550 at sticker. The Dallas dealer wanted a premium over that so I am going with Houston.
The dealer has my 10 K check but the Netstar computer isn't ready to process the order as I want Designo paint and leather. Those details have yet to be published. I'd like dark brown leather and Mocha Black. My current G
is a keeper for the ranch. It's Dark blue metallic with stock grey leather. I bought it new and it's just turned 80K miles. What a great vehicle.
Hopefully there will be more Designo options than for 2012. The matte paint is tempting but I think it's probably too trendy. Any comments out there?
Has anyone heard if it will come with a brush guard? Pictures have been both ways.

I've seen matte black on the G550. Let me tell you, I cannot stand 99.9% of the cars out there with matte black. It doesn't do a damn thing for me, but matte black on the G550 looks so ridiculously good that I think it's worth the extra money. I don't know anything about maintaining it though ...

2013 G 63 AMG
I've owned a matte silver G55 (designo magno alanite grey) for two years and it's by far the most durable paint finish I've come across. Super easy to maintain, as long as you resist the urge to wax and polish. It also looks great on the G-Class...IMHO.

I am in Canada have ordered a 2013 G550 too for October delivery. The 2012 MSRP is 115K so I think the 2013 will be slightly more. At the moment, dealer only has standard exterior colors with brown, black and grey as interiors. I selected black on black for now but will be notified if designo colors are available. My preference is 197 metallic with red interior.

Can anyone tell me what they paid for the new 2013 G550, and what cash or conquest money they mioght of got. I am trying to purchase a 2013 G 550, but want to make sure I get a good price, and since pricing is not released yet, what should I expect to pay or what incentives should I look for.......

I am not sure how it is in the states, but in Canada, I just order and hope the price does not increase significantly. Usually, they go up within $3-$5K

I agree with MZCLOUD, pricing in the states won't be substantially different...$3-5,000. If you want one order it.

2013 G550
I finally got my invoice on pricing for this vehicle. Can anyone tell me if they had paid a $ 1950 upcharge and $ 250 charge for Designo leather? I thought that the Designo was standard in this vehicle? Also, with tax on this car it stands at sticker price 116,105 with the upcharge,, plus about 7,000 for taxes, so total $ 124,000 dollars..... any tips to pay less then sticker on 2013?

That is a good price, we paid $126,000 excluding tax (in Canada also) for our 2012 G550. For the new interior and a cheaper price that sounds like a great deal. Dealers pretty much know that someone will buy it if you don't, they don't come here in great numbers so the demand is usually high.

Why would the AMG/Designo paint or leather choices be standard on the non-AMG model? It has never has been standard in the past so I would not expect it to become standard now.
For 2012 with no AMG models for sale in North America they started offering the AMG and Designo options for paint, headliner and fender flares.
I think it would be safe to assume that they would now not take away those options for 2013 G550 models considering the premium charged and an array of people opting for those options.

The USA website now has 2013 pricing and colors. The G550 is $113,000 and the G63 is $134,300. There are now some interesting standard and Designo Colors. Other colors available by application. I've been able to order Mocha Black/Chestnut/piano lacquer wood. Build date is October. Delivery second week of December to Mercedes Benz of Billings, MT
