help to decode VIN
Hi,

I am planning to buy G class with VIN WDCYR71E38X172644

anybody please help to decode it?

It says the VIN is an invalid model/ model designation. I need to know what kind of G it is and the chassis code if possible and maybe I can get somewhere.

I'm sorry but I can't do it through MB's EPC (probably because I'm doing it wrong). The G has a different VIN setup than other MBs on this site so I can't figure out how to do it. Sorry!

Where do you live? The cheapest place to buy a G-Class is the US. Dubai is about 20% more expensive.

I can't pull the data card for that one either. Is it a 300CE AMG?

its a 124 300CE 24V but not an AMG version.....exported from Germany to Japan and imported by Mercedes Japan.

One of the other members was able to pull a build list that coincides with what I observed.

Check http://dubizzle.com. I have a friend selling his 2011 G55 "Arabia Edition" on there and several others are listed. Otherwise you can try calling Gargash Motors in Dubai or Emirates Motor Cars (EMC) in Abu Dhabi.
