New G63 owner/little issues over the weekend

Posting it here again because I think more people look at this forum.
Picked up my new 13' G63 this weekend(traded my GL) car is awesome I love the way it drives and roars lol. Anyway this weekend during the day the alarm came on couple of times during the day(dealer said to come down and they can tune down the sensivity??) did anybody experience that? Second glitch was when I pulled out of my parking spot one day the hood light came on that the hood was opened? Stopped car went outside looked pulled and its closed. I than pulled the hood open and closed it again than I shut the engine off and started it right away and it went away. I'm thinking those two glitches might be connected to each other. Anybody here experienced anything like that? Thanks in advance.

They probably are related. There is a push button switch under the hood that could be out of adjustment. It just may need to be repositioned a bit.

Perhaps the mounting bracket for the switch needs to be adjusted.

It's fixed for now and got a week without it going off in a garage. Hope it won't come back.

Problem fixed. Dealer replaced both hood sensors.
