Hi to all,
I'm pretty sure that there will no "real" redesign in the next few years, until the real "new" G-model will be presented in 2005
(perhaps 2005 ...)
The old stlye of the G has (at least in europe) made this
car a unique "cult" car in the last years.
I'm not sure if all of you know, that the G-model is produced
since 1979 in almost the same apperance. Attached a pic of
an early long wheel base W460 (probably 280GE)
If one is interested in more information, have a look at http://www.g4rce.net/engl/index.html (not my site, it's from Arnd Goetz) which is very well done, with pretty much information about the former series 460, 461 (also short wheelbase, military version, ...)
