I was just wondering since the G design has been around for quite some time... when is it due to get redesigned?

Considering this is its first year on the official US market, I don't see the G-class being redesigned for a while yet.

I posted this not too long ago too. I thought I saw somewhere they were planning a redesign in '05, and Oli from Stuttgart said he heard the same thing..

not 4 awhile so if u were thinking about gettin it dont hold urself back!! trust me the only thing i dont like about the car is the crummy gas mileage but other than that its a hummer 4 skinny people!!

I'm pretty sure that there will no "real" redesign in the next few years, until the real "new" G-model will be presented in 2005
(perhaps 2005 ...)

The old stlye of the G has (at least in europe) made this
car a unique "cult" car in the last years.

I'm not sure if all of you know, that the G-model is produced
since 1979 in almost the same apperance. Attached a pic of
an early long wheel base W460 (probably 280GE)
