Few Modification Q's
I just picked up a new 2016 G63 Black on optional Black interior. I plan on doing the typical power mods for this drivetrain. But had a few question regarding a small lift and offload tires. I have searched but never found a answer for this combination. Im hoping someone can chime in and shed some light. I will also copy this to the AMG G section.
I plan on lifting it with spacers like most have suggested. I see G-wagen accessories has the 30mm poly spacers. I know there was another sponsor here that carried spacers which he offered a slightly bigger lift. On top of lifting it either 30mm or 50mm via spacers. I will be adding 30mm hub bolted wheel spacers most likely from H&R. So with that in mind what tire sizing do you guys feel I can go with on the stock wheels?
Also if anyone has pictures of what Im trying to achieve, please post up. Would love to see them. Also a off the wall question that most might not know, long shot. Does anyone know if someone makes a long gun locking rack for the rear cargo area, with weapon systems standing vertical? Would rather buy it then fabbing up a one. Thanks in advance guys!

Geewagoon just modified his truck with some 20 inches rims, 50mm lift and A/T tires.

I dont know if your calipers with let you downsize your rims for a smaller size with bigger tires like the THOR products G-Wagen:
With 30mm Spacers and the lift you are describing you can easily fit 305/70/18 tires.
Your challenge will be finding off road tires in 20 inch size. You can do Nitto Terra Grapplers but that is all I have seen in 20s. A lot more options at 18 inches, which is why I went 18, and if you actually plan to wheel it 18 is much more practical for off roading.

Thanks KC! Ive found a good amount of off road tires in 20s. That is the standard for lifted heavy duty trucks. I had 22" wheels wrapped in 40s on my last to Super Duties. :-) I think I can pull off 35s with suspension and wheels spacers. Even crossed my mind to start putting a real lift on it. But then it would never end. Didn't buy this truck (G63) to go crazy on.
