WTB G63 or G55 OEM Dual Muffler setup (New or Used)

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to upgrade the Muffler setup on my 2002 G 500 and convert it to a G63 or G55 dual exhaust. I do like the Rumble of a G63/G55 AMG and I do realize the exhaust system is completely different from G500 vs G63, not to mention the engine types, twin turbo vs naturally aspirated are different as well so I will never be able to completely replicate that sound.

Let me know if you have any info.

Also, has anyone actually bought or have heard of these G63 Knockoffs from China? Are they any good? How do they sound? Please PM me your thoughts..

If these where already posted to another thread, I apologize, Im kinda of a noobie here.

For your Year model, you need adapter like this. If newer model, conversion is bolt on.

And this, you can buy OEM parts for this.

Read the product description. The kit has two adaptors.
If you use OEM exhaust, don't expect cheap upgrade.

The support brackets, you definitely need ( https://www.g-wagenaccessories.com/p...63-550-muffler ) But honestly, no need to spend $600+ on adapters. A good muffler shop can simply weld on custom flanges and connect it right up for probably +/- $50. Also here's a set of new take off G55 mufflers on eBay from a reputable seller out of Germany.

Thats what I was thinking about those adapters when money could be better spent somewhere else.

How long does it typically take for items to arrive in the US from Germany, specifically that seller in case you have purchased something from them in the past?

Hi- don't know their specific shipping times, but email them and ask. I've ordered items from Germany before from two other companies and from what I recall, it was 7-10 days.

G wagon
I installed a a63 muffler setup on my 2002. Love the sound and the look. Was installed by a local specialty shop.
