Stereo upgrade for 2005 g55 - shop recommandation

I want to update my 2005 g55 with a alpine halo9 multimedia receiver. WITH steering wheel controls (volume, phone on/off), backup camera.
Any recommandation for someone that is familiar with g-series in los angeles area ?

which headunit did you replace your comand unit with ?
Which year G do you have ?
do you still have steering controls ?

Curious what other impacts replacing the head unit had. Doesn't the head unit control some fairly integral functions like the system clock? Any pics?

Lifted G500, GT-S, track Cooper S

swapping the head unit (and removing most of the COMAND functionality) for my 02 did remove my ability to alter some settings, most notably the clock. Auto locking, lighting, etc are still configurable using the dash display and steering wheel.

I retained steering wheel control by using an axxes adapter.

I read somewhere that there is an option in the star software to eliminate the command center. Doing so will allegedly give you a few more options off the steering wheel menu, such as adjusting the clock.
