Which should I buy? 2011 G55 or 2013 G63?

Which should I buy? 2011 G55 or 2013 G63?
I was about to buy a 2011 G55 with 29K miles for $68K, but then I found a 2013 G63 with 67K miles for $69K.
Both are all stock.
Both have a clean Carfax.
Which should I buy?

All things being equal (and the mileage is not) my rule of thumb is always buy the latest model you can afford. With the pricing being the same I would probably opt for the MY '11 G55. There are only subtle differences in the units. Good luck...and let us know what you decide.

G55 has the older infotainment system. No BT audio and smaller screen. G63 has the new gen infotainment system.
I personally prefer the M113 supercharged power plant in the G55 as opposed to the turbo charged motor in the G63.
Drive each and see which one you like better.

I always look at the heart of the vehicle first. In this case the G55. If the audio is your thing then the G63, but really, an aftermarket system in the G55 will trump the G63.

Drove both 2014 G63 and 2011 G55. I have the 2011 G55 in the driveway. As Jim mention above I replaced the whole audio system. The main reason for the G55 is the Supercharger, this is a very heavy SUV and the turbo lag was horrible on the G63. Instant power with the supercharger

As has been said before 4k mi a year means it has been sitting a lot which means a lot of deferred maintenance might need to be done and these cars don't like sitting.

mercedes 2013 g550
Id go 2013, thats what i drive and love it, used to have an awful 2002.
newer is always better, the g550 on mine has an exhaust system that i personally cant tell the difference between the g63 and g550. I had a mercedes worker assume it was a g63 by just the sound. it doesnt take much for the g wagons to sound amazing.
