2019 G63 Break In Procedure
Years ago, a break-in or run-in period was important for motors because the tolerances were so varied that the manufacturer wanted a break-in period so all the moving components could "seat". Then you would change the oil and filter and get all the tolerance particles out.
Not the case with modern motors. Not only are the parts more precise, but they do a break-in at the factory, so, in theory, you can hammer the motor the minute you climb into the vehicle. I don't recommend that for a new Huracan rear-wheel drive (with the ESP off) or you will find yourself pointing backwards on the on-ramp

is. One would think that you’ve bought an amg and it’s ok to put in sport or sport plus modes, obviously avoid high revs and keep varying the revs.
picked up my g63 and was going though the manual - I guess have it drive it like a Prius for initial 1k miles. Good news is that it’s only 1k!

fwiw my previous c63 has the diff service sticker, not the g63
tbh, I hated old G63 when I drove a brand new 2016..2x range rovers later, loving this one but it definitely a bit raw / less refined than a Range Rover yet it has its own charm and quirks
