Help: 33 off road tires rubbing on 2019 G63
I put 33 12.5 r22 on the 22 AMG wheels. They are rubbing on the front inside fender well. Any advice? I know 12 wide wheels dont rub. However the factory wheels are 22x10.
1 spacers?

see pic for rub. Occurs at full turn. Wondering if 1 wheel spacers would help? My guy at the shop mentioned spring spacers, but Ive heard bad things about the effect on suspension

after looking into it, spring spacers arent available yet. There is a spring lift kit for $1500 from Germany. Lifts it 40mm. I dont want to lift my car at this point as I enjoy the factory drive and it feels great on the 33s

I have what looks like 1" spacers that came with my new wheels I didn't use them. I think they are for the G550 4X4 Sq. and meant for larger tires?? not sure if they would help. They are machined in Germany

thanks. H&R makes some 31mm spacers as well for the previous gen. I dont think it will help the situation. But Im going to have them put spacers on while they are trimming to fender for a better stance.

I did some measuring and I don't see how a tire any larger than a 285/55 or 305/50 will fit on these without making contact with the inner fender well liner.
As for the liners, don't CUT them, drill a small hole and run a zip tie through them and pull them away from the contact patch.

the shop mentioned either trying to heat up the liner and push it back, but more likely doing a trim at the contact spot on the fender lining, and putting black mesh on there for cosmetic reasons

i ordered the g-raid lift springs for 40mm lift - this will take care of it. excited for the final look. going to use wheel spacers for a more aggressive stance then
