The 2020 US G-Wagen Dealer Order Guide (DOG) in 1st Draft was released May 28th.
In the DOG for G63's there are (5) "Designo Manufaktur" Paint Selections at +$6,500 - and in the DOG there (6) "Designo Metallics" and (2) "Designo Magno" = total (8) "Designo" choices
In the 2020 G63 NetStar Confiigure tool the DOG "Designo" exterior choices are relabeled "Designo Manufaktur Metallic" and Designo Manufaktur Magno" which makes the total # of "Designo Manufaktur" exteriors choices the original DOG (5) + relabeled DOG (8) = total (13)
It's all marketing - there are no additional "new colors" so far added after the 5/28 order guide - just a re-labeling thing.
There are no 2020 Designo Manufaktur" interiors in the DOG - and none in the Netstar configure tool yet.
If you want a 2020 G63 - frankly if you don't have a order commitment with your dealer today - with the limited # G63's being produced versus high unfilled demand - you most likely will be reviewing the 2021 Dealer Order Guide to spec your rig..

They will need to add the Stronger Than Time pages soon given it is for the 2020 model? Or do special offerings not end up in the DOGs?
For the G63 Stronger Than Time edition, there's a dark chrome grille, and matte chrome covers the running boards, exhaust outlets, mirror caps, portions of the front and rear bumper, skid plate, and sections of the spare wheel cover. It rides on 22-inch AMG wheels that are matte black.
Inside, the special edition gets two-tone black and Titanium Grey Pearl Nappa leather with carbon fiber trim. Like on the standard models, the G63 has leather-covered grab handles on the roof, and hides over the instrument surround.
On the G63, buyers can also specify the optional AMG Trail Package that adds softer settings for the adaptive dampers for better work off-road. It also adds 20-inch wheels with five sets of twin spokes and all-terrain tires. The body receives a black skid plate and mud flaps behind the rear wheels. To protect occupants from the sun, the rear windows have black tinting and heat insulation.
Well... so far "Stronger In Time" has been Euro Press Only... and here in the US expansion of the Manufaktur Program has consisted of relabeling existing Metallics and Magno's under the Manufaktur labeling.
Inquiring 2019/2020 new G-Owner's should really be asking how you sign up for the G-Wagen Off-Road course and factory tour in Graf - now that's fun !

Another fine member pointed out in a DM that the configurator is up on the German site with new options for colors, wheels, and packages. Some pretty cool things I hope will end up in the US though know a lot are only offered in EU market. Anyway it's fun to check out. FYI - it's in German but using Google browser does an OK job translating the page enough to navigate.
I don't think so - in Europe the '19 already had certain things as options that came standard in US (Burmester sound system, a sunroof and rear airbags, for example, were options in some European markets but were standard in US).

Do we think the off road trail pkg will be available in U.S.? I have a 2019 going into production in July, so I was thinking of switching to 2020, but only if I can add that pkg. matte paint seems to still not be available so nothing else really interests me

I have ZERO intel, so this is just my opinion. I would say Yes, the offroad package will come to the US. I say this because it is offered on the AMG version. If it was just on the G500, I'd say No.
AMG versions represent 650%+ sales (or more) in the USA so suspect it'll be offered. I hope it is too.
Ok everyone, the G Manufaktur has been added to the DOG. I wanted to wait until it hit before posting info on this. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. There is 17 pages of optional colors, interiors, trim for each model (G 550 & G 63)

Hi the cost of the AMG TRAIL PACKAGE in Europe will be set at 3,100 (Euro). Extra 500 for treated glass option Suspect in the USA itll be about $3 - 4k. You can see this on the german website now.
