My goodness. That is an outstanding job. Real craftsmanship going on there. Congrats and good luck. I assume they work, but never fully believed in laser jammers. But I know too many people that have them and swear by them. Any other work performed by the shop while they had it? I'm finding the audio in the new G63 to be a little underwhelming. Better than my 2010 but wishing it had my range everwhere and speakers hum a bit at deep bass.

damn! that's such an amazing job. I've had a couple done on my cars but they're not nearly as sleek as yours.

truly impressive...... I showed this to my local tech who did my old E63 stealth install and he was amazed at the level of finish.... hoping he's inspired when he tackles my g next month...

how are the ALP's working in reality ? Texas is just getting a batch of the dragon-eye guns it seems.... or at least local to me.

debating to do it on the G or C first.....

FYI:
Can read the mirror image of your license plate in the 2nd to last image on the spare tire cover.

Did you drive to Oregon just for that project?
Wish there were more high caliber shops like that in Northern California.

You beat me to it.

In my area, everyone uses the WAZE app, so it is extremely rare for me to be surprised by a speed trap.

It is an amazing job though.

i had the car shipped to portland.
the escort system was originally installed by another shop in northern california, and it was a total disaster.
so i had Musicar re-installed everything and added the ALP lasers system.

Wow, 6K? May you speed safely and swiftly And yes, we still know your plate Why do people always try and hide the plate numbers?

Plate scanners are everywhere. Police cruisers scan the license plate of every car they pass, and it takes them only seconds to retrieve records of stolen vehicles, vehicles whose owners have outstanding wants/warrants, and vehicles with expired registrations. Every toll booth you pass through scans license plates, as do car parks. Placing covers meant to reduce legibility over license plates is illegal in many states, and some states outlaw even clear protective covers intended to preserve a plate's legibility. An article in March 10th's Wall Street Journal reported how license plate scanning has led to the arrest of several Capitol Hill rioters because they passed over toll bridges equipped with scanners on their way to and from D.C. (dummies). Big Brother is alive, well, and growing bigger with each passing year. Google "license plate scanning" -- it's a big business.

Thank you for helping me understand better. I didn't realize! It makes sense too. Even though a lot of folks don't feel they have anything to hide, I get what you mean, we still want our privacy! I always share my plate because it's a vanity plate lol. I always thought these systems were to prevent the cops from clocking your speed too.
Again, Danke!

I read a few years ago that having a vanity license plate increases you likelihood of being audited by the IRS. Apparently the tax folks believe if you have the cash to spend on a vanity plate, you might be cooking your financial books. (BTW, google "vanity license plate Dubai" and see what people there are willing to pay!) The IRS has also been known to send agents to high-profile divorce court hearings. They have found that hidden assets and foreign bank accounts often get disclosed when marital property gets disputed. There is very little privacy left, and most people aren't aware of what they're giving away on social media (such as revealing the year and state in which you were born discloses all but the last 4 digits of your social security number).

Some very interesting points you bring up. I've always been one those 'I've nothing to hide" type of people as I mentioned, but still enjoy my 'privacy'. As far as the IRS goes; they can go fawk themselves the nosy fawking *******s they are LOL.
