Do you wave at other G drivers ?
This is my first G but I’ve had plenty of modified cars in the past. I use to give a thumbs up or a wave at other modified cars but people would think I’m crazy. My wife also thought that is odd and embarrassing so I stopped.
In the G I’ve noticed many G owners (w464 and w463) always beep me or give a thumbs up or peace sign. I started doing that too other G brothers. Many drivers of other normal cars also thumbs up and love asking questions about the G.
Is this a G thing ?

very prevalent when I'm out on my motorcycle (downward/off to the side peace sign or just a pointer finger). I don't initiate but I always return when a rider going the other way does...feel like an azzhole if I don't even though it can be annoying doing it all the time. Especially when you get the wave while working the clutch, turning etc.

Yes, actually it’s a natural move. Porsche drivers never really nod or wave perhaps because there are so many of them in the Bay Area ...g on the other hand, not so many; especially the new ones. I did wave to another g63 driver the other day and he also waved back, even more enthusiastically. We couldn’t help but notice each other, both were looking at each other g’s anyways 
ive also noticed Ford Focus RS community waiving each other - perhaps the somehow niche vehicles create a bond..lol

Back in the day, when there not so many Porsches on the road, it was customary to flash headlights at each other. That wore off as P cars became more prevalent. I do notice that other G drivers wave (not many in these parts). I am always amazed at the attention the G gets. Can't seem to pump gas without someone commenting or asking questions. So when you see another G give 'em a wave.

I was always perplexed by this. When I drove Pcars people in other Pcars would wave.........this was off-putting to me as I saw it to be a sign of elitism. No one waved before in my Mercs.......but now they're waving because we have a common car?? How shallow do we get LOL!
