G63
Nobody knows......during the time I've been waiting two shipments of windshields have arrived in the U.S. The most recent shipment arrived on the 10th of October and I was assured I should get one of those.....but I didn't.

If this isn't resolved soon I plan on getting rid of the car.

If I’m being charged msrp on my 918 Spyder and F12 TDF, then why would I pay over sticker on a regular Mercedes
You are reading my mind. I own in-demand exotics as well, purchased at list, and the thought of paying over per sticker for a Mercedes has me in stitches. I like my G63 but would have walked if the dealer tried to charge me even a dollar over list.

Also, getting the cars registered legally with plates in China is also another area that requires significant networking and knowledge. There is no easy buck here.
Yes, the import tax on new vehicles ( used are not allowed ) into china is very high.. BUT. there are a lot of ways to get around it. I have friends who are in the exporting business and I've heard from dealers in china who buys cars directly from importers from all over the world since they have so much demand and not enough inventory. The profit is actually quite a bit ( for most people ). The only time there is an issue with registering a car with license plates in places is in Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou ( tier 1 ) cities. Where you would have to either rent a plate or buy a company with a plate tag, or fake marriage. Tier 2/3/ cities have no issues registering cars even if it comes from gray market. I work in Beijing and have 3 Audi A8's and an Alphard. I paid 420k RMB mark up on the Alphard last year when it was brand new. People who are in china know this process and don't have any issue buying these cars. Unlike in Taiwan, where you can import used cars and register them without any issue.
