We ordered the interior and exterior without seeing either in real life. We are super happy we did. Exterior color is beautiful.

I wasn’t fully sold on the trail package wheels but thought that I could always switch them out. But after seeing them, I really like them a lot.

I am going to try to take some interior photos (G Manufaktur Saddle Brown) and share them here.

PS thank you for treating the car with care! 👍
Congratulations on the car is quite beautiful.

I have an order on mine and have a small time window to update it. I originally intended to have the same color interior combo as in your car, but was told by the dealer that to obtain the two tone (saddle brown /black) with diamond stitching I will not be able to have a black center console and lower dash section, but I will need to have it in saddle brown(dash board/center console) which I did not want, so I had gone with a different color interior. I assume that information was incorrect as the two tone dash is optional as per the ordering guide. Would you be kind enough to print the Configuration Order/Window Sticker that reflects the interior options? I hope it will help my dealer place my order as I originally intended, since it seems the system is not allowing to configured the interior like it is in your car. Appreciate the help.

Thank you in advance.

its a real bummer when you can’t get exactly what you want when MB specify a million combinations but your countries system won’t allow it.... I wanted black interior with red seats and red seatbelts .... red seatbelts are not an option in the Uk and red seats get red EVERYWHERE ....for me it was just a bit too much.

I’m not moaning as I appreciate all Gs and no matter what i will be the happiest woman in the world when we get our 2020.

The olive colour is absolutely beautiful ! Congratulations to the owners - wow ; it’s a real head turner.

Thank you!

That is odd, we didn't have any problems with this combo. Honestly I was a bit unsure of not having the saddle brown dash/center console but after it arrived, we knew we made the right decision.

Here is our order form:

You have to select option ZI3 ($600) for the center console and lower part of the dashboard to be in saddle brown. If you do not select it then there will be a black center console and dashboard by default. The photos in the ordering guide show the saddle brown interior (934 and 964) with the ZI3 option selected which may be why your dealer thought it doesn't come in black.

Just took delivery of a 2020 G63 this afternoon....The exhaust sound coming into the cabin is wayy too loud for me. Is there a way to reduce it ? What’s my best option?

I imagine I’d have to go an aftermarket shop for this. Thanks.

no such thins as too loud on a g63. There’s probably a g550 guy here happy to swap exhausts with you...

Concerning that you think the G63 is too loud, plus I saw your other post that you think the seats are uncomfortable. You're making me nervous!

1. Are you driving in Comfort / with the "quiet" exhaust mode?
2. What did you drive beforehand? (what's your reference for 'too loud', appreciating that everyone has their own taste!)
3. What spec did you order? (which seats)

You can always buy an exhaust module such as ASR and keep the valves closed at all times.
I have one and having them closed makes a big difference, I use that setting on the highway. (different vehicle though
but same effect).

Maybe not a good idea to get an AMG and expect a quiet exhaust.

I don’t find the G63 to have too loud of an exhaust, I think most people want it louder and go aftermarket.

I would also worry about replacing the exhaust with something quieter, since it’s not a common ask and it might end up restricting the engine too much. Maybe look at getting dynamat or something like that put under the carpet in the rear passenger area?

Also due to the location of the exhaust it tends to be louder inside in g-wagens compared to other similar vehicles.

1. of course
2. RR ATB...very quiet but the seats were horrible. So I got an S560 coupe. Best seats ever! The RR is gone, I traded it in.
3. DD4 saddle brown with comfort seat package.

Correct. The seat cushion bolsters are very restricting. I can’t drive it without sitting on a cushion. Not sure what to do. The rear outboard seats are much more comfortable. I either need to lower the bolsters or raise the middle of the seat somehow. Shame to start messing with the upholstery already.

I initially ordered a g550...low on power once it came in. So I switched to a g63 - was just looking for more pickup, not sound. Thought comfort setting would address that. RR was 510hp.
My second day with the car. I’ve gotten a bit used to the sound actually. The seats are the bigger issue now. Otherwise love the look...Olive Green on Saddle Brown with Trail and Night. Identical to above pics.

Sounds like you should have purchased a G550! Although the seats are the same... but the ride is more comfortable and the exhaust is quieter (but not as quiet as your S Class).
