Pre-owned 2019's . . .
I seem to be seeing a lot of relatively low mileage pre-owned 2019's listed around my area these days. Is the old G magic gone with the new model? I wonder what gives . . .

I would guess that most of those that you see for sale were bought with the intention of "flipping" them for a quick profit. I don't believe it has anything to do with people not liking them.

The ones I have seen recently have been around or below MSRP

Maybe they never had a test drive and they thought they would like it! My wife said there was no way in hell she would agree to get one unless we took a test ride, which took me several months to get. I knew I would like it albeit I was surprised how much I would like it, and I normally drive a 911 or Harley.

Just wait a bit and the price will come down and the quality will go up
The 2013 Range Rover had the highest resale residual of any vehicle on the road because there was a waiting list and used ones sold for more than new.
Same when the first Miata came to market.
Both are worth pennies on the dollar now.
G Wagon should fair better than most but the market place history is strewn with asset bubble vehicles until the instant gratification is fulfilled.
Ironically the first couple of years of production are usually plagued with quality issues.
Waiting a couple of years to get the MBUX system and better quality will be worth it for those with patience.
It's a fantastic vehicle and should enjoy many years of success.
