Shipping G63 across Canada in open trailer?
Hey fellows,

I always ship my cars enclosed regardless of the weather.
For a G wagon (supposed to be a military vehicle) should I spend the extra thousand to get it on an enclosed trailer or are open ones fine?

It's in the middle of harsh winter right now in Canada but does that matter to this truck (2013 g63 with 46k miles).

Yes it matters. Ship it in an enclosed trailer. Much less chance of damage especially if the weather is bad. The extra $1,000 is a small percentage of the trucks value.

Rock chips, dripping oil all sorts of liability. Enclosed trailer might have higher insurance coverage( I suppose)

This is a car with 46,000 miles on it, so it probably already has wear and tear. That said, due to the weather and the distance, I would only go enclosed. If it was summer and shorter distance, I would be fine with open for that car since it already has so many miles.
