Looking for shop in Wilmington, DE area to recalibrate ESP/Speedo for 33" tires
I'm about to install some larger tires on my 2010 G55 and expecting to have ESP & Speedometer calibration issues.
Does anyone know of a shop in the Baltimore/Philly corridor, preferably close to Newark/Wilmington DE, that has experience in recalibrating the G wagon for bigger tires?
Thanks,
Tim

You will need a shop with a STAR system to change the tire size settings. Keep in mind that there are only a certain number a pre-programmed tire sizes available to select. Which ones will be a function of the year and software for your particular truck. For my G, tire sizes as large as 33" were not an option.

Thanks Floobydust.... I've seen quite a few Gs with 33s, but you raise a good point. While I've seen several G55s on larger tires, most off-road builds are G500s or G550s. My 1st challenge is finding an indy shop with the STAR system, since I read most dealers won't entertain my ask. I at least need to find out what my options are.
Can anyone recommend an indy shop in the Wilmington, DE area that has the STAR diagnostic tools

I have known several dealers that will at least put the truck on the SDS system and tell you what the pre-programmed size options are if you are willing to pay for the shop time. There are options for both the instrument cluster/electronics and the transfer case (both must be set). Some people I have read have owned one of the Chinese bootleg STAR systems and done it themselves.

I have not put the new wheels and tires on my G yet but when I had 33's on my JK Wrangler Rubicon UL
I just used an App that told me the speed I was going (Waze does that now) and kept in mind the difference when I was driving.
It really was not a big difference.
Not sure what it will be on the G, I will be putting 295's on mine as soon as they arrive.
