Post a picture of your G Wagon
I know the feeling. I didn’t own a G over the summer when I lived in LA, but I miss having my Porsche there. The drives up the PCH to Malibu country mart for cars and coffee were my favorite Sunday ritual.
I want to move back but the crime is deterring me.
Do they use a lot of salt in Seattle when it snows?

Got the thumbs up from the misses to grab an 87-88 G-Body 911 which Im hoping to do in the next year or so. Finishing up a BMW k75S and CX500 cafe builds now, I do miss cars and coffee in griffith park, used to live in Los Feliz and would cruise over there in my e63 and my buddy in is XJR.
Def put salt on the roads in Seattle, going to hose down and wash everything tomorrow since the weather is hitting mid 40s.
I've only driven two days since its snowed, and the truck won't be driven for another month until I'm back from my next trip to LA finishing on some short films and house hunting.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Picked up this 2011 G55 for a bargain in early 2021($60k CAD), with 160k km(100k miles). Has some physical imperfections such as few rust spots but hard to complain for how cheap it was.

You'll want to do 31mm wheel spacers. And, if you really want to improve the looks, a lift and bigger tires.
It's wrapped in a matt black wrap, original color is also black. I will rip it off in the coming year. This will be a long term project, I plan to keep it forever.
I had no loss in sound quality, and it’s very unobtrusive otherwise. Just adds new tech and allows me to run waze, Apple Maps, etc. all at a convenient line of sight when compared to the factory infotainment which is placed awkwardly low.

House hunting to move back to LA and this would be great for the rig for the drive down, likely towing a trailer with my two motorcycles in it. Would be nice to go more hands free and have my map at my eyeline instead of my phone in the mount.
