Refreshing my 2015 G63 alien green

I sold my C63s and got this 2015 G63 last October. It was my friend's car and he babied it a lot. It only got 12k miles on the dash when I took the ownership. I've driven it for 6k miles, and decided to refresh my ride since its gonna be a keeper for a long time. Just finished all the work today, including Fox 2.0 shocks, 22" Vorsteiner wheels, 305/45 R22 Yokohama tires, 30mm spacer lift, black side trim, and new pair of tail lights with sequential signals. I'm moving to the east coast by the end of the year, and to avoid the winter snow messing with the paint, also did the full car paint correction, paint protection film, and ceramic coating with paint, wheels, door hinges, and interior leather. It absolutely shines like a new car right now, and I couldn't be happier with the current setup. The alien green is really really special, and it's pure joy to look at.

Love this setup. Only problem is the rubbing with the front Fox reservoirs while full lock. Gonna re-install the reservoirs horizontally next week.

Also got the carbon fiber steering wheel with green stitchings to match the interior green stitching and carbon.

Thanks to the wide-angle lens camera, this looks like a POV shot

love love love the alien green crazy color edition!!! I use a Tumi 19 degree bright lime aluminum carry on that matches perfectly - wish I had the car color to match 😂

I didn't expect to like that color as much as I do. Really works with the wheels/tires and the black accents. Beautiful!

Looks great! The color sure is bold but suits the truck in a lot of ways.

Did you notice any change in body sway or squatting during acceleration/diving during braking after the Fox shocks and spring spacers? I've been looking into the Fox 2.0 upgrade with my 05 G55. I want to retain the stiffer springs, but need to use spring spacers, or go with longer, softer springs.

Yeah this color is definitely special. Most of the time darker colors like black and grey works great on G-wagon, but this bright color is hot as hell IMO.

The Fox shocks definitely worth every single dollar! I immediately felt the difference on the very first time I stepped on the brake pedal. The ride is so much more comfortable. There's no extra sway or diving while acceleration or braking. The spacer also works like a charm. I recommend going with OEM springs with Fox shocks and spacers.

Overall handling has been improved with the new Fox shocks despite the ride height increase ?

Great! Thanks for the input! Now I'll just have to figure out how thick of a spring spacer I'll need to match the Fox Shocks.

Haha I just bought the batman for myself as a birthday gift. The alien green is for sure a special color and it's not for everyone. IMO it's the best one among the five crazy colors.

Beautiful G. Congrats... enjoy her in good health

Love that Batman as well. I wear my black ceramic GMT daily. So much nicer to wear than my ceramic Sub as it’s thinner, lighter and more useful!
