G55 or G63???

G55 or G63???
I am in the market for a daily driver.
My wife has a 2019 G550 which I love and I test drove a 2016 G63 today and to be honest I was really underwhelmed by it especially for $84,000.
Having stated this I would be happier to buy a cheaper G55 for circa $40,000 and wondered whether that would be a good move?
This car is going to parked outside and I don’t really want to stress that much amount it.
what are the main differences between the G55 and the G63?

the room basically sucks
i'm 6'2" and i wouldn't recommend anyone taller do a pre 19 g. you can fit but it isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, distronic is a must imo. as to the g55 vs g63 i think the 55 is a fun truck with a playful transmission, but the interior is really dated. i'd do an early year 63 instead

Achtung! Unpopular opinion incoming.
I personally prefer the G55 Kompressor over the G63. To me the G63 interior feels cheaper and flimsier. Especially the gauge cluster and screen come off as cheap and plastic to me, and not a fan of the "chrome" details and buttons. Agree it looks a bit more modern, but I feel like if you're looking for a modern car, the W463 isn't the car for you in the first place.
The G55 has a more bulletproof engine from what I've been able to gather, and you don't have to deal with the potential headache of the turbos. If off-roading you don't have to worry about the additional inter-coolers behind the front bumper. The trade off is ~40hp.
At least where I live (Scandinavia) the G63 is a dime a dozen compared to the G55, the former often passed around with short term leases and credits, while the latter being more of an enthusiast car with long term ownership. (Due to reliability? I don't know.) I was looking for a 55K for a very long time before buying mine and eventually decided to import it directly from the source, Germany.
With all that said definitely not trying to $h!# on the G63, it is after all the second best car in the world.
