Borrow front grill Chrome Star?
I want to send all of my stars to the painter so they are ready when my G arrives in a few weeks; however, I need to borrow the front Chrome Star from the front grill if someone replaced it with the Black one. When my G550 arrives I will send you mine when I remove it, and if I break it I will buy you a new one (but I will not break it!). I thought about the rear one on the spare tire as well albeit that is not as important as the front one. Please PM me if so and I will pay for postage both ways, and anything else such as a padded envelope or box the Black one came in. Thanks to someone!

Not sure what shipping is, but found one for $60 on EBay w free shipping. Pop that in there, get yours done, pop it out and keep it in the garage or on your desk. I have two stars on my desk from projects that just look cool hanging in my work space.

I have several stars already in my office, along with countless Porsche crests...I hate to waste anything.

Even though I had an overwhelming response (not) I guess I will have to send him my Black one for painting. However, if someone would be so kind to send me their front Chrome one I will make it worth their while.

Is that a G55? I want to check the parts diagram to be sure yours is the same as mine. If you pop yours off and tell me the part# I can verify it.

Thanks but it is not the correct one, but I do thank you for offering! Anyone else? I know a lot of people have replaced their stars with Black ones...I would do it for someone without hesitation.
