Annoying Warning
What’s annoying me is the auto lane assist or whatever. If I try to avoid a pothole and veer to the right or left (over the lines) the car breaks and or forces it’s way over to be inside the line. It’s freaking me out and I hate it. I tried to adjust the settings to standard as opposed to adaptive and it still does it. Anyway to completely shut off?
btw, you can't turn it off. You have to fix it.

its a new car, can it be a bad sensor or is there a setting to lower the sensitivity?

- On the G550 it’s mounted higher and you lose the front camera/birds eye view.
- On the G63 it’s mounted lower, and based on this thread thereby increasing the chance of interfering with the proximity sensors.
Here are the steps followed:
1- they thought the glare from the bull bars was reflecting onto the sensors and causing the beeps so they tried a tape to block glare... no go
2- they tried a software uprade which crashed... no go
3- they finally replaced entire module and now fixed.
its an open campaign and the suggestion is to replace the module... dealers should know this.
