2020 G550 shut off while driving today.

may I ask, how was this ever resolved? I had something similar happen. When I brought it to the dealership, I was told “ that’s what happens” — I told them you should NEVER be able to turn off a car that is in drive. Only park or neutral. I called Mercedes corporate and they agreed, the ignition button should not turn off the car while it is in drive. This has to be a known problem to Mercedes. It is now 2023.

2023 G550 stalling/Turning off while driving
Hi. Bough new 2023 G550. While driving at low speeds entering freeway it shut down on me. All lights illuminated on dash. Turned off and turned back on. Everything went away and it’s back to normal. Took to dealer and showed them video I took. It’s been at dealer two days. Haven’t heard back. 350 miles odometer
