Many asked me to post pics of it but I said I wanted to make all of planned mods first; however, here are a few pics of when it was delivered. I told them to leave plastic on and not to wash it since it went in for PPF/ceramic coating a couple days after I got it at the end of July. I'll update the thread with the final pics when I finish the mods.
First mods were new G63 wheels and mufflers, which were blacked out and the tips were powder coated, and chrome emblems went bye-bye as well. I also blacked out the running boards by wrapping them, which is described in a separate thread:

Thanks, they are real G63 mufflers/tips from a 2020 G63, as well as the wheels. They were bolt one albeit I had to move the actuators from the stock mufflers to the new ones and buy the rear G63 hangers that are required since the G63 mufflers have 2 rods on the back and different hangers were needed. No CELs and it sounds great.
Nothing against Black, White & Silver/Gray but I wanted something a little different - my Porsche is Miami Blue since I like color! But there is a lot of Black on it now. I even painted all the silver heat shields, etc. Flat Black that you can see from the side if you look into the wheel wells .
Hi Bob, this looks great! I found a G550 and are hoping to replace the stock wheels with G63 22"s. Question for you: how were you able to source the wheels and did you need to do any adjustments (e.g., raising it) to the G550 to fit the wheels or did you just pop them in?

I bought mine from a member here that was selling the wheels/mufflers off his new G63. You can find them every once is a while here or search online including ebay. No adjustments whatsoever albeit I used the lug bolts that came with them so basically just bolr them, torque to 111 ft.lbs, and drive away.
A few more things completed: side front windows tinted (20%), Black side inner trim (was white pinstriped), painted mirror covers, Black door buttons, and a glimpse of Black emblems (was chrome):
Except for the steering wheel she is done, and I am happy with the results. The Desert Silver Stars went on today (front grill, wheel centers and spare tire), and I had the spare tire outer ring painted just like the mirrors. I also wrapped the rear reflectors and added a Desert Silver "Z" to the hitch cover:

The final pair of bumper hole covers are on the way to me now for a final test fit so watch for a new thread once the producer gets feedback and starts the thread - those are prototypes in the pic. But taking the bar off is easy and there is a thread here in the forum that shows you where the 2 bolts are (behind little covers toward the bottom of the grill - see pic).
Looks great Bob. Those 22's look so much better to me without the machined edge. Thanks for the info on the rimskins over the rim blades in another post. Its tempting to get the 22's now if I can cover the edges up. . .

Thanks, I did not care for the 22s with the machined edge and I was reluctant to paint or powder coated them but the Rimskins made a it a no-brainer for me. And if you add them don't forget about painting the other non-Black things!
