Transit Time

Hello everybody. There's a lot of talk about the time from order to delivery, but I haven't seen anything specifically about the time from build to arrival at dealership. My G will be built on Sep 9. What can I expect for transit time? Looking for feedback from those who have received their orders.

In answer to your question - there are two parts:

1. G-Wagen's get completed at Graz - then are held at the yard there for rail transport to Port, generally 4-5 days - then transported overnight to Port where they are held there for assignment to vessel without vessel name entered into the system, which can be about 1 week - then once a vessel name is entered into the system you will know the schedule for arrival at US Port.

2. If you have a 2021 G-Wagen on order - you will be receive your 2021 until Mercedes releases the new model year - "maybe" October for 2021 release - "maybe" November for 2021 release - that release date is up to the Car God's

Mine took about 3 weeks from the time it was completed until when it arrived at the dealer here in Florida, which from what I have read here is a little quicker than usual.

That would be amazing if it happened that way for me, but I'm expecting at least 6 weeks, hoping for sooner.

That's really quick. You must have gotten on the ship as it was leaving. Is Brunswick the port for Florida as well?

Yeah, sometimes a G is at the right place at the right time. And yes, Brunswick received mine and it was delivered to Orlando. On the other hand I have read others report waiting 2 months or more.

The cruise takes about a week to the east coast.
