What phone mount are you using for your G's? I like the magent mounts that go into the vents but considering the new G's don't have the traditional vents, what do you guys use?
I used this one...its well made..except it rattles a bit unless you put some foam in the base....Its temporary...you do loose a cup holder ...bit I have owned a few g wagons so I am used to having limited cup holders....lol
I pre-ordered the Belkin vent mount, magnet phone mount for my iPhone 12. I'm still waiting for it to come in. It is more expensive than the other ones I looked at, but I figured they sell it at the Apple Store, so it it probably good quality.
It is not a charging mount, but I have to hook the charger up to CarPlay anyway, so I wouldn't be using the charger even if it did have one. I read that it is bad for the phone to charge via both, the magnet and the charging port at the same time.

Guys, any update on what's the best phone mount for the 2021 G63? I had a vent mount that charged the phone in my old G550 but it doesn't work with the new G63 vents. I need to get a new phone mount that charges the phone while it's mounted. Anybody find an awesome iPhone 12 pro mount for their new G yet???
I have this in our Beetle and it’s a nice quality piece that doesn’t require any drilling/double sided drape. I didn’t get it for the G because it mounts too low (pre 2019)
took almost a year of searching for one and a friend recommended Carmount. It's working! The dash is so flat in the 2020 G and this mount is slim. I even have the heavy apple battery case on my pro, it does not move while driving
I too have the Carmount and love it. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the phone sits perfect between the center vents, and is tilted to aim towards me. It does block the 3 diff buttons, but I don’t use those anyways. It has a low profile design, and came with 2 adhesive backed metal plates. I stuck both plates the my phone case, for added strength. It doesn’t move at all, even on really bumpy roads.
