Thank you for that picture..
Am I right in saying that the Terra Grapplers are more versatile 60% on road and 40% off road where the Ridge Grapplers are 60% off road and 40% on road?
I can't say the versatility difference in percentage wise, however they're both hybrid tires, good in both world of off road and on road. Here is a link might help to determine: https://www.tirebuyer.com/education/...ra-grappler-g2

that is how they were described to me by my tire guy who’s the high end guy for Atlanta. Haven’t hade them off-road but drive 8.5 hrs each way to VA for Christmas and was very happy with them highway/rain. No snow time unfortunately. The 22’s in my pic are OEM, just all black instead of silver rim

seems like terra grapplers aren’t great on snow..did a little research ..
Following this thread as I was also looking to see if the 285/45r22's would fit. A little apples to oranges here, but I also have an F250 cclb diesel and put 35x12.5 Ridge Grapplers on it. Night and day over the stock tires - I'm very happy with them. I'm in Northern Ohio and in the snow belt. For the G63, I was actually looking at the Falken Wildpeak AT3's. Didn't see anyone mention them here. A lot of the truck guys swear by them for plowing over the G2s and they've got the snowflake rating. I'm not planning on doing a lot of off-roading, but the stock tires are flat out treacherous on slick roads so I'm just looking for it to be safe.

falken’s look good, however, their max speed rating of 118mph and some say they make ride harsh (hard tires)..but looks like great snow and all around heavy duty

Fair point, but unless I’m reading the chart wrong the Ridge Grapplers only have a rating of Q, or 99mph. The G2s look to be H. I’d personally rather have the better tire in snow than worry about 118 vs 130 mph, but I totally get it based on how you drive your vehicle. Also, someone commented above about the Ridge Graps being more off-road. I use them mostly completely on road and they’re all good. I think they’re more aggressive looking than most of the ATs.
This is my 2018 with Grapplers. It’s a nice tire but I found that about 4000 miles on the tread you WILL hear road hum. Rain or wet weather has never seemed to be a problem as well as off reading.
These Ridge Grapplers look good on these wheels, almost hard to believe that they don’t rub!
I like these rims from Vossen with Nitto Ridge Grappler. I contacted them and found out that these are Hybrid Forged HF-5 (20x11) in Matte Black with 33x12.50R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler.
What surprised me is that they have not lifted or put spacers and there is no rub what so ever. After reading the threads here, even when 305/45R22 (12"x32.8") needed the fender to be drilled and zip tied to have little more space, how are 33/12.50 rub free?

I don’t know but if they don’t rub then I’m bloody getting a set as they look fantastic!
I called that BS. Look the picture, how close the tire to the front. I have a set of 20x10.5 et22 wheels with 295 50/20. It still rub

I got another reply from Vossen, saying that they didn't lift or put spacer on the truck. However they did trim the plastic in the fender area.(I guess fender liner) Now it makes sense and I don't think I would trim for rim.

That really does annoy me, I was on their live chat last night with them as I’m in the UK. The guy swore to me no adjustments was needed! WTF. How to loose customers quick!!
Brand new Toyo open country 285/45/22’s all around.
Damn these look epic!
I couldn't get stock of them in Australia, I ended up with the 285/45/22 Terra Grappler G2 and they are fantastic so far.
No rubbing but its VERY close.
No chance you can get bigger stock.
Happy Thanksgiving, all. First post here, but have gotten so much good information over the last few months while waiting for delivery. Thanks, it is appreciated.
I know there have been posts on this topic (I have read them all), but I'm hoping to get a definitive answer before placing an order for G Tyres Ltd. I have just taken delivery of a 2021 G 63. Factory wheels are 22" Cross-Spoke, and tires are 295/40R22.
I'm hoping to buy the Nitto Ridge Grappler in size 285/45R22. Will these tires work without rubbing? Any other concerns I should be aware of? I am not looking to make any modifications to the vehicle. I know there are very few out there, but am I missing any other more aggressive offroad tires that I should consider?
Many thanks in advance...
I was just wondering if anyone has tried these general G max tires on their challenger scat pack? The price seems right.
