What the title says, called a few dealers to verify mine hasn't gotten back to me yet as my truck is scheduled to me built in just over a month or so. Msrp is about $17k extra. Ouch...

If true, then I think the Canadian G63 has to be a record for MSRP bumps without any major feature additions. 2020 got a $20K bump already, and now $17K additional?!

That's insane.

Wow the people who bought the 2019 G63 in Canada made out like bandits - got in at a good price and the MSRP increases help with residual value.

$250K in the USA for sought after colors and options and $200K for low spec cars or weird color combos.

Thats some b.s.
Anyone else in canada that couldnt order a diamond stichted classic red interior for 2021?
Dealer told me its not an option anymore in their ordering guide, so i went with a bengal red diamond stitched instead.

Maybe consult your dealer I saw my build on their computer today and I ordered the 807/8xx Classic red/black diamond stitch interior (the one that requires Exclusive interior plus package, and Seat comfort package plus) for my 21.

Build date is for Jan, sales guy said it would be hard to change the order now. He said he will find out.

However he did say I could have a 2022 build as well, which would let me order the interior I want. Doesnt seem like a bad idea.

Doesn't make sense that Classic Red wasn't availble for 2021 but is again for 2022. Seems like maybe the dealer didn't do much investigating if someone else on here was able to order it. Maybe it was just an odd quirk.

The Bengal Red and black actually looks really nice. I'm typically not a fan of red interiors, but Bengal Red is one I can live with.

Agree with getting what you want especially if you can live with the wait. I’d wonder what MB Canada will do with next years MSRP assuming vaccinations occur by then and the economies doing better. Same thing for the US MSRP since there was no increase this year.

The Canadian luxury market didn't seem fazed by the virus as luxury vehicles and clothing/jewelry seem to be flying off the shelfs so to speak.

Either the dealer can change the build options or can't there's no grey area, the salesmen/dealership seems a bit lazy. Where are you located/which dealer?

I’m from Toronto.

I went in October and they gave me a build date for Jan, so i cant be to picky i guess. But from what I know, they have leather supplier issues so this is all that’s available for this build date. I still can get both a ‘21 allocation and flip it and take a ‘22.

I would wait to order exactly what you want especially when spending this amount of money, I was offered 2 2020's this past summer but I wanted the red interior and steering wheel controls along with some different trims inside, kind of kicking myself now that it cost me the msrp price increase but it is what it is.

I just notice the price increase on MB canada website. From 195k to 211k for the G63
did the G550 price moved? I usually only check G63 prices.

The increase is to kill off the flipper/export market. The flipper market for the new G's is basically done in Canada with this increase. What's the wait times for factory orders?

That been said, the G63 MSRP is still cheaper than the Urus which I would say is the main the competition is this price bracket so I don't think the price point is that bad.

They're still selling for way over msrp here on the west coast used car dealers are placing orders and waiting for them to come in, 2020s are selling for 50k + over msrp still with kms on many of them, the 21s will probably go for close to $300k plus tax (msrp with options will probably be $240k).

Wait times all depend but I'm being told 2-3 years maybe sooner if you're trading in a G but it has to be a new model G in order to get a shorter wait time or have a great relationship with the dealer.
