I would jump up on this, BUT I emailed the guy in the link last year, he thought it would not work on a 2013. Mid-City also says no ECO off solution for 2013 G which is unfortunate.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I have a 2014 and there is no ecco start/stop on it. It is my understanding that did not start until 2015 with the turbo motor.
BTW, the Mid City Engineering video in motion solution will also defeat the dreaded speed controlled volume annoyance. MB's stubborn (for over 35 years) ignorant insistence upon inflicting this upon drivers is the reason why I will never own another new Mercedes. Every other car manufacturer in the world realizes the folly and provides a way to turn it off, but it is so heavily integrated in the new MBUX vehicles that it cannot be defeated by any means. Good thing Rover has the Defender available in the states now.

You can try it out and if it doesn't work I can give you a refund. I have no use for it.
