I cant believe I am asking this question, but where is the first aid kit located? I know I know RTFM. but even the manual only says it has one but doesnt say or show where its located.

Mine was lying in the back cargo area in a plastic bag.

Mine was also in back with the winter mats and I have been wondering if there is a place to store it. Mercedes in the past have always had a compartment. I did find that the loops for the warning triangle hold an umbrella well.

As per the manual, it is supposed to go in the front passenger door stowage space.

Bob, I hope that means there is a compartment I haven't found in the armrest and not just flopping around in the cupholder.

Ha! I said the door, not the center armrest! I put mine in the back door since I have other crap in the front one.

Bob, I'm aware. Do you remember when all of our cars had compartments in the DOOR armrest... The Austrian army may not appreciate storage compartments, but I do!!

Nope. I am a G newbie! Needless to say one can put the kit anywhere and maybe it will fit under the seat but as per the manual it goes in the front passenger door stowage area (aka pocket).

Finding the first aid kit in a car can sometimes be like a little treasure hunt. Since it's not always in an obvious spot, let me help you out.
Typically, car manufacturers place the first aid kit either under the front seats or in the trunk area. I'd suggest checking under the front seats first, as it's a common location. If it's not there, take a peek in the trunk, usually tucked away in a compartment or sometimes near the spare tire.
If you still can, try the first aid box manufacturer. They should be able to provide specific guidance for your vehicle model.
