Dealer called and said no more designo Night Black Magno (matte)? WTF
I find that really hard to believe but wanted to see if any one else has heard of this BS?
dealer response to me asking if this a corporate issue or just their dealer:
Yes it's corporate. It's a Limited availability on that paint.

At this point I'm going to change colors and and check in weekly to see if magno black becomes available. Sales rep said I can make changes until the day the order is lock...

No - Graz will not accept January requests for changes to March production orders - so this particular MB dealer doesn't know sh*t about G's - and he is just just reading to you the NetStar Green-Light/Yellow-Light/Red-Light which for your rig does NOT apply..\
Just because Green/Yellow light tells the dealer he can "enter a change request" - doesn't mean sh*t because Graz won't accept it - comprende !
Let's get to the Magno Black i- if s NOT available for this "April Order" (kind of strange since April allocations/PO acceptance were done 2nd week December) - please understand if Magno Black is not available now - with Graz it will NOT be available for that order PERIOD - "his is not "wait and watch the colored lights" and "hope" there is a cancelation - won't happen - and that/your dealer doesn't know sh*t about G's either.
Look - Graz has been been delivering confirmed order - on schedule - on the money - since June and they are the ONLY factory that not only is back 100% - they have been back at 100%/on-schedule since JUNE - d*mn Impressive.- and puts EVERY MB/Daimler factory factory world-wide to shame..

I ended going with another magno color and dealer said they are getting the same error for my 2nd choice.
They've attached the 2 images.
does this mean the colors are not available or they have no allocation at this time?
night black magno is a limited color. The factory will only produce a limited number of units painted that color each month. However, night magno is by far the most desirable color (measured by customers wanting to spec that color). This leads to night black magno being limited in supply.
Corporate releases G Class allocations each month. Dealers can then select the color on these allocations. Once enough allocations have a limited color selected, it becomes full and cannot be selected until an existing allocation decides to give up the color.
your dealer was too slow in getting a matte black car. They don’t want to admit that so they gave you some random reason as to why they cannot spec that color. Your options are to give up your current build slot and wait until the next round of allocations and hope that they grab the black magno the moment it’s released, or get another color for your current allocation.
