Picked up a 2013 G63 with some issues. Anyone help?

Hey guys,
I'm finally back in a Mercedes, and of course it has some issues that need to be repaired. I'm slowly working through all the problems. Here's what I found needs to be fixed so far:

1. Check engine lights is on. Code is P023400 The boost pressure of turbocharger 1 is too high.
- I tried google for some solutions, but could not come up with anything. I'm assuming there might be an issue with a boost pressure sensor or something along those lines? I tried clearing the code, it comes back after a short while of driving.

2. TCU has a code for P0705 Selection range sensor A has an electrical fault.
- Also checked google, it seems this code mainly happens on the earlier 7G tronic transmissions. Couldn't find anything about the newer MCT ones. The car does not seem to be in limp mode and seems to drive fine. I did have an issue on the highway today, however. Just driving along all of a sudden when I pressed the accelerator, the RPMs would go up, but the car would not accelerate (like I put it in neutral). The indicator what still showing that it was in D (Drive). I had to pull off to the side of the highway and put it in Park. Tried putting it back in Drive, nothing would happen. I shut the motor off and restarted it, shifted into Drive just fine. Didn't have any further issues getting to my destination. Anyone experience anything like this before?

3. Rear parking sensors don't work. Codes are: 923a24 The outer left rear distance sensor has a malfunction. No signal change: Voltage level is too high. 922b09 The outer right rear distance sensor has a malfunction. There is a component fault.
- Are these sensors prone to failing? Should I just replace both left and right sensor?

4. Sometimes when I turn the key to start the engine, nothing happens. Ignition turns on fine, but when I go to crank it, nothing. Scanned the codes, B1A3911 The two-way radio receiver has a malfunction. There is a short circuit to ground. B1A3987 The two-way radio receiver has a malfunction. The message is missing.
- Anyone have any experience with something like this? Issue with the key or ignition switch maybe?

5. Getting a message on the cluster for an error with MB connect. Code is 2.B15CE00 Registration on the server for telematics services has failed.
- I think there might be a way to just disable telematics? I had a look through the IC module programming, did not see anything to do with telematics in there. Should I be looking in a different module? I just want the message to go away, don't care if telematics works.

6. Power steering reservoir was covered in oil and there was some oil on the steering box also. I cleaned both with brake clean, will monitor and hopefully figure out what's leaking. Anyone deal with getting a steering box rebuilt before?

7. Coolant reservoir has some dried coolant all around it. I picked up a new reservoir and cap from Mercedes. Will get those installed, hopefully fix the issue.

8. Oil residue on the exhaust heatshields. Maybe leaking valve cover gaskets?

Thanks for any help in advance.

I had the same problem with your number 1 issue on the list. For me it was the sensor that send the warning that turbo is boosted so the car kept going on limp mode. I took it to a indy shop and got the car fixed for 300. Do not take it to benz, they told me my turbo was almost blown and wanted to charge me upper 14k. They are a rip-off.

Reached out to my mechanic for help on the sensor. Will get back to you soon. I looked at a pic on my phone for the code error i had and it was the same P023400 code so im certain its the same sensor for you for your Turbo 1.

I found the invoice for my service. It says the sensor was the 'Boost Transducer 1531328' which cost $138.33 for the part. I suggest searching online for this part and taking it to a indy shop for installation. Let me know how it goes.

I would recommend figuring out number 8 quickly. Excess wear on the valves from lost oil or dirt intruding if it's really got a big gap is a big deal. Disclaimer: I'm not a mechanic.

I am working on a similar issue as the second part of #4 on your list. I was having issued with the Key FOB not working unless within aprox.10ft of the receiver under the drivers door handle. Ran the codes and pulled up exactly what you have B1A3987. Curious if you have issues with your key fob as well?

I haven't dug much into it yet but will start as fuses and then hopefully loctate these components.

Have you dig into it any further?

The antenna is routed in between the windshield gasket and the front of the dash so being inside the cabin I don’t think so. There was no trace of water anywhere else aside from the connection on the Amp.

I think condensation from the windshield dripped down the antenna wire and into the connection, but not positive
