Crazy Color edition production numbers?

Add my Solar Beam and we have 2!
Has to be at least a 100 or so. I heard orange was approx 25.
I for some reason love the Galactic Beam and if I found a super low mile like new one I would buy it.

I sold mine and I am looking again for a super low mile one anything under 20k will be considered. Prefer purple or orange no yellow.
They are such unique trucks and to me the last of the real hand built G63'S. I had bought a 21 when they came out and sold it and bought another older one. To me if you have other luxury cars it makes no sense to have the newer as they look the same interior wise.
The leather is insanely nice especially for an SUV

Just bought a Galactic Beam Purple. Only other one I've seen is modeled on websites. The color alone makes me want to hold onto it. Would love to see some numbers along with see some cars out in the wild.

There's an Sunsetbeam Orange one on Bringatrailer now presented by Ryan Friedman Motors 22k miles, looks perfect.

I just bought a galactic beam as well!!! They copied the chassis code w463 and made 463 of all 5 colors of the crazy color editions! I am trying to figure out where the production number on the car itself is at because I know it’s there somewhere and I want to know which one I have out of 463!

Where are you guys finding these purple? 503 Motoring? had one for years for sale but too many miles for me.

So I wonder if there’s 463 total then??? Maybe they divided that up into the colors? I called MB USA the other day and the girl was no help lol so I truly have no idea who to ask but I really want to know lol. Someone HAS to know, right?

They were also not easy sells at the dealerships with many lingering for well over a year on the floor. Mine was a 17 and wasnt sold till well into 18. Raleigh NC dealer told me they also had difficult time selling one they had. Honestly because of that truck I will never buy another yellow vehicle again. It was the hardest thing I have ever sold and it looked new, inside, out and underneath. I watched plenty of plain bad examples sell for more money in nowhere near the condition mine was. I have had several and the yellow unfortunately was my least favorite but garnered the most attention.

From what my sales guy said only 30 were made for the US market? But he may be wrong and it was only for 2018. Anyways. He said it is the last allocated alien green from Mercedes. They made 2019 facelift models a month after mine.

well I was told from someone there were 463 produced. Now it was unclear if that was total of all crazy colors, in all years, or per year or what. BUT, if yours was 30/30 say in 2018 for alien green then that math works out to be almost 463 total for all years & all colors. 30 x 5 colors, 150 x 3 years = 450 so there maybe was a few extra of certain colors to equal that 463. That makes the most sense in my head 😂 all I know is I have a 2016 galactic beam and I’ve never met or seen another lol

I don’t think they made each color the same amount though. Here’s what I found, if you do a simple search.”These cars, exclusive to Japan, will be sold in extremely limited numbers. Only 12 units of the Sunset Beam, 12 of the Tomato Red, 9 of Solar Beam, 11 of the Galactic Beam and 6 of the Alien Green will be sold in Japan.” If they are not the same for Japan markets, I highly doubt it is for the USA. There are 5 yellow ones in our DMV area, 2 orange, during our G wagon meets and I have yet to find another green one outside of my previous one which was the 3rd in the US, it was a 2015. Another is my friends in LA
