i thought I would post this as a heads up, found oil in all 4 of my cam shaft sensor plugs, I did have an engine light come and pulled the codes and sure enough exhaust camshaft bank1 and intake camshaft 1 sensors showed a malfunction.
So I decided to replace all 4 sensors as the newer version of these sensors address the issue of oil leaking through, onto the harness and then working its way to the ecu, which could be very pricey as a few M!57 engine owners have found out!
Super easy, took me 15 mins to swap over all 4 sensors, only to realise that I had run out of electrical cleaner so I’ll finish her off tomorrow.

@nikos525, thank you for sharing. i may similar issue. what fault codes did you get? i received the following codes. you have similar codes thoughts?
There are 4 issues for Power system：
1.Continuous camshaft adjustment(LEFT):Incorrect position of the exhaust camshaft(P0025)
2.Continuous camshaft adjustment(RIGHT):Incorrect position of the exhaust camshaft(P0015)
3.Constant adjustment of exhaust camshaft of left cylinder bank in direction 'Retarded'(P0019)
4.The position of the exhaust camshaft (cylinder bank 2) deviates from the specified value in direction ''Retarded'' during cold start.
There are 1 issues for Vehicle body system：
1.Communication with the humidity/temperature sensor has a malfunction. The message is missing.
Hi bejoy. I honestly don’t remember the codes. For sure it’s worth you pulling the plugs off and having a look, cleaning everything up and putting it all back together. Very quick and easy!
