13-18 G63 | Bumper Covers, Brush Guard delete

Gentlemen, thinking of removing my OEM brush guard on a 2017 G63 - realize there will be a bumper mount point to cover. Any recommendations on what bumper covers/supplier to use as there are a number of aftermarket ones along with OEM, in chrome, stainless and carbon. Looks like OEM parts are:

- 463885022264, 4638850422 ~$300

Thanks.

Aftermarket is fine, not a structural part and fitment should be just fine

After market ones are kind of cheap quality, I bought them and then swapped to original ones

I bought some aftermarket ones on eBay during the week - they arrived today and I installed... $145 for the pair and they're great quality and fitment was perfect...the fixtures look identical to the fixtures on the OEM brush guard. I have a 2017 sintered bronze magno G63....looks so much better without the bull bar! Here is a pic of it next to my GLS...

Care to share who the seller on eBay is that provides good aftermarket covers for the holes on the front bumper left behind by the removal of the bull bar?

for sure - I took a leap of faith on this one as I couldn’t bring myself to spend newly $600 for equivalent OEM parts. Its literally worth about $5 in material costs. Anyway - let me know how they work out. I’m super pleased having taken the bull bar off - makes the car look so much better.

I'm still anxiously waiting for the mechanic to be done with mine so I can start doing the reconstruction of it.... Supposedly it will be late next week.... I went to the seller's store and unfortunately it seems as if he does not have it for a 2002 G500. Will reach out to him once I have my truck and see if he in fact can source this for me or not. I did find a shift knob that I need at a good price though!
