How do I access the controls for the mirrors?

How do I access the controls for the mirrors?
My side mirrors stopped working last year. They both went at the same time so I want to think it is the controller behind the headlight toggle switch and not the individual motors. However, I can't seem to access the back of this panel. Do I need to come from the bottom, or maybe from the fuse panel, or do I need to remove the instrument cluster?

You want to remove the headlight/mirror switch?
You'll have to remove the filler strip under the cluster, then you'll have access to screws to remove all the paneling under the steering wheel. Then remove the foam insert around the steering column. There is a hidden10mm bolt holding the switch panel in, which is why you can't just pry it out.
