Correct Wheels for 2017 G63 with 305-40-r22 Tires ?

Hey everyone,
First of all, happy to now be part of this community and a new proud owner of a 2017 G63 AMG! I currently have a set of almost new Nitto NT420V 305-40-r22 tires, and now looking at getting custom wheels made.
Would 22x10J and ET 36 offset wheels work for me with those tires? I just don’t want them sticking out of the wheel arches, also don’t want any rubbing issues. Would they sit flush (or almost)?
Thanks!

I like how these look, however that user did not mention the offset on his post.

22x10J ET36 with a 305 tire will be very aggressive. They'll stick out past the fenders, maybe 1-1.5 inches. You'll likely get rubbing at full lock. For a more flush fit without rubbing, you'd want an offset closer to ET45 or higher on that width.

Thanks for your input Gazam. I'm so confused as I'm getting so much contradicting info. Here's what CoPilot says:

For your 2017 G63 AMG on 10Jx22 with 305/40R22, “flush” with the arches usually means a bit more poke than the conservative ET40 you were considering.

Rough guide for the front (where it matters most visually):

• ET40: Slightly tucked, about 16 mm more poke than stock → clean, but not fully flush
• ET36: About 20 mm more poke than stock → visibly wider, close to flush
• ET32: About 24 mm more poke than stock → very flush/aggressive, near the edge of the arch

So, if your goal is:

• Clean, almost flush but safe: go ET36–38
• True flush / aggressive look: around ET32–34

Personally, for a G63 with 305s, I’d aim ET36—it reads flush to the eye without looking like it’s trying too hard or risking rubbing under compression.
I hope someone like this person, who's actually tried them, see's my post and provides tried and tested info.

Here’s what stock ‘25 on 295 F1s look on a 2017; no spacers, no rub on full lock and I personally think these are the best looking forged wheels for the G.

I would of went 305s however the tires were near new condition so I’ll hold off until these wear out.

Yeah, those polished aluminum rims are sharp asf and the best fit. An angle pic doesn't do them justice.
