Always in Sport+

My routine after pressing start is to always toggle 2 times to sport+ and then deactivate lane change assist. I actually can't remember what its like to drive in comfort mode. Isn't this what everyone does?

I've never driven in comfort mode.

It's start G , put in Sport+ and turn off Lane keep assist every time.

Same. I immediately activate sport + every time I turn on the vehicle to the point where I think my G hates comfort mode lol. I've noticed sometimes in the morning when I don't turn on sport + after I start my G starts loudly vibrating.. then immediately stops when I activate sport+.

Since permanently disabling the ECO Start/Stop, I don't bother shifting out of Comfort mode.

Love the ride in comfort and the performance and sound of sport+ so I customized my own settings. That is more frequently my go to selection over sport+.

I turn off LKAS and switch to Sport when I start to turn off auto start/stop. When I get out of my neighborhood I switch to Sport+. When I'm coming home before I get to the neighborhood I'll switch to Comfort and turn off auto start/stop on the steering wheel. I read somewhere that it's recommended to park and shut off the car in comfort and not sport+.

The other times I run comfort are if it's raining outside or if I'm on a highway. Sometimes I'll switch to sport if I'm going to be sitting at a light for awhile because the revs are higher in sport+ and if I switch to comfort the auto start/stop will activate.

And yes I overthink this.

A gaggle of MB's
1. For ANYONE that has a New Gen G63 - for Performance - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - worth every $$ (and more) : CLICK HERE RENNTECH HHT OBD PLUG-N-PLAY UPGRADE

2. For Driving Profiles and Eco-Start/Stop - email your VIN# to Vladimir at : canfiltermb@gmail.com
Ask Vladimir what OBD Module features he can program for your MB

Both OBD Module based programmers are - Program Once - you're done - you keep the OBD module if/when you want to return to Stock Settings/Features

I put in individual mode, lkas off as first step.

My individual mode:
sport+
Manual shifting
esp sport traction and
sport suspension, sport+ is a little harsh for my taste/comfort.

Sport Plus is too bouncy for me. I leave mine in comfort, exhaust open, LKA off and stop start off.

I’m too used to manual shifting via paddle shifters on my 911, can’t help it..

When I was younger I flew a Cessna 172 almost daily to relax. I can still remember the feeling after landing and climbing into my 911 and thinking about flight prechecks. I am a creature of habit for sure. Getting into the G reminds me of those days. I execute the same steps every time. The funny thing is that I feel cheated only doing 4 steps and find myself looking to add additional steps.

I have both in my 550, unfortunately, it stays in comfort, so no good exhaust tones as well it runs in a higher gear.

I too only have 91. Renntech adjusted the tune (or at least told my they did) due to my gas situation.

Still waiting to hear someone's experience with LKA on black ice.
