Hi guys, what would you choose? Dealer asked me to swap my ordered Obsidian Black MY22 (time of arrival on december 2022 Europe) to Jupited Red G63, I can pick up red one in this year( 1 year faster wow). Red one is cheaper (10%), exactly same addons like carbon package, premium plus package, g-manufaktur pack etc like my black order.
But i ordered black... I have mindfu**
If I have two cars staying opposite to each other, and i have to choose one and collect it , i'd go into black. But it's so ODD world and year and this situation is different

Black is more popular and will fetch more money for him hence why your dealer is asking you to take the red one . My dealer in the states had a red one and there were zero takers so they dropped the price to move it. Took a few months to sell but finally happened once they reached the right reduced price. I have an obsidian black G63 and would say wait for it and pass on the red one.

Get the black one if that’s what you really want.

Jupiter red will be my next color whenever I get another allocation.

Strong argument is the price... MY21 red one is 200k $ vs 250k $ black one. On red there's a discount and MY22 is more expensive due to 7% inflation rise by Mercedes. But guys, you are completely right, i need to go into what i feel

Take the red colour first if you are satisfied the car options. Because it is a such big difference (25%) between the price and you can have it 1 year faster. Once you don’t like the colour you can change whatever you like by Paint Protection Film.

Have to say I love my obsidian black G63. Color just fits the truck so perfectly. You will love either one though that much I'm sure of.

I would venture a guess the red one will be worth at least what you paid for it in a year.

I've decided to wait for my dreamed black series G63. Jupiter red is not my type, and only one thing was better - price. Time is not a problem. Moreover selling black one in EU is like a whistle, 1 second, Jupiter Red is hanging on advertisment portals for months.

Black will always sell, Red on almost any car besides Ferrari is a polarizing color and much harder to sell later on.
