Planning on Selling MY G550 what should be my asking price

2020 G550 with Polar White with Red and Black Interior
I roughly have about 7400 miles on it. What should be my asking price.
Bought it brand new and I hardly drive it.

Start by checking comparables on autotrader.com and cargurus.com.

You missed out on the price bubble from 6 months ago. Probably looking at break even to $10-15k over but that's just based on local prices I've seen lately.

I thought about trading in my 2021 G550 for a 2022/2023. Dealer offered me MSRP for my trade so break even for me, but then stated it would be $50k ADM on the new model. Couldn't swallow paying $50k more for essential the same truck so opted to keep it instead.

Autotrader is showing almost 250 550's MY 2020+ with under 15K miles. Looks like a blood bath between 160-190K.

Markets for almost everything are softening. Home asking prices are being cut, and the WSJ reports the aftermarket prices of Air Jordans are down 30% (a leading economic indicator, if there ever was one). My G dealer has 4 '22 G63s sitting on-lot all tagged around $300K (but who knows what they'll go for). I think dealers are keeping list prices high to conceal what's really going on. My guess is the OP can get at least MSRP, but likely not much more (+$50K is dreaming) with inventory levels being as they are.

Exactly, the everything bubble is deflating. A friend told me that 2 GLE 63s are sitting at the local dealer and both were ordered 2020 or 2021 and now whoever ordered doesn't want it. It is also worth remembering that people can list their car for a high price on Autotrder, does not mean they will actually sell for that price.

I'm in the market for a 2022 GT3 and right now they about 100k over MSPR, but in the past week I've been seeing price cuts slowly.
I think at the beginning of the year they were at 150k over.

Just waiting until they reach reasonable levels and trade my G63 in for one.

Thanks for all the input. I was offered at 1 dealer $160k and one offered $165k. I am just waiting for one of them to confirm my order for the GLS63.

Why the changeover to the GLS63 from the G550?

If a dealer is offering you $165k, take it and run. That's what dealers in los angeles offering 2020 g63

Prices continue to drop. Isringhausen has had a '19 G550 (23K miles) listed for 7 months, and has dropped its price $40K over this period to $160K. Still likely to go for at least its MSRP, but these buggies aren't moving like they were a year ago. The demand bubble for almost all vehicles has popped despite residual supply shortages. Dealers aren't budging too much from MSRP, but they're still buying used vehicles at a premium.

I'm certain if I saw your G63 sitting next to the 5 MY22 units sitting on my dealer's lot priced $100K higher, I'd snap yours up in an instant. Was this $200K a dealership offer?

Yup.

I'm getting another offer here soon and see what they'll give me. They're one of the car dealers that only sell used high end exotics, so they might give me more.

Yeah $160-165k for a G550 I would take if you really don't want the car any more. I wouldn't sell a 21 G63 for $200k unless it was as a trade-in for another at MSRP.

It's been painful to be without a G for the past 6 months but seeing where values are now, I'll be okay and any tears can be blotted with dollar bills lol.

Below are a handful of recent Manheim auction sales for 2020 G550's. $165k sounds strong.

$152k.5k - 19,656 mi
$151,750 - 6,526 mi
$158,500 - 66 mi
$159,00 - 18,782 mi

I would love to trade it in towards a new 2022/3 911 GT3 but getting one at MSRP is near impossible, let alone an allocation for one.
I'm sure long time Porsche buyers can get one from MSRP especially if they're big spenders, but someone like me who has never bought a 911 GT3 let alone a Porsche, even if I were to get one I'm sure ADM would be a minimum of 50k and that's if I'm lucky.

It's why I'd rather sell it when the market is still good and just buy a used 2022 911 GT3 when prices cool off in 6 months or so.

Gotcha. Always hard to predict the market but I think it will settle eventually, still above MSRP. Waiting lists are still healthy after all.

to be very honest this was a fathers day gift to me by my brothers. I personally do not like the way this thing drives. It is uncomfortable compare to a GLS63. My daily is a 2021 Alpina XB7 and there is a day and night difference when it comes to comfort. If I was driving it more often then it makes sense to keep it but I like the comfort of Alpina. I test drove the GLS63 and being a 7 seater it compares to the Alpina with comfort and handling.

I bought an X7M50i just last month and concur that it and my G550 are at opposite extremes of SUVs. I considered the XB7, but thought it would depreciate more quickly due its lesser appeal, and would have about the same value as the X7 when I trade it in 4-5 years. But I enjoy both vehicles, and probably because they are so different.

I have a '21 550 with just under 5k miles on it. identical to yours but mine has black leather seats with red stitching and red seatbelts. Dealers are offering me 150-160k! Yours is a year older what am I doing wrong?

I think that's the market for a G550. MSRP for a 2022 didn't jump that high and the wait lists for a G550 are much fewer. Cast a wider net if you really want to sell.

I just can't let a dealer offer me 150 but then post it on dealer website for 187k. I have it listed on cars.com and car guru for 175k what do you think I should do?
