Still need to pay Markup on G63 G550?
I am buying a new G Wagon, is anyway I can get it at MSRP ? especially for G63.
At this interest rate, I am hoping the market will soft a little bit.
Please advise.
Thank you.

If you have a strong rapport with the local MB dealer, you might be able to approach the MSRP. But without that connection, it's doubtful. Demand remains high and waitlists are long. If circumstances drastically change, like the proverbial sky falling, you might get it at MSRP. But if things get that bad, would you even be looking to buy a G63?

All depends on where you're located but realistically if you have no relationship with a dealer and are in a well populated market, no you are not getting a g63 at sticker. high interest rates or not your hopes are just that hopes.

I agree and second the previous comments. I was able to buy a 2023 G550 at MSRP in June in SE PA, however the stars aligned for me that day….i was at my local dealer from which I’ve previously purchased a MB, it was 30th of June, they had a newly delivered G550 which the intended buyer backed out from the deal that day, and I was there as a cash buyer.

Get out there and start talking to dealers and tell them what your intentions are. At the very least you can get on a waitlist and be order a new one at MSRP in the future, and find a used on for the interim.

Thank you all for your help.
I am in Great Los Angeles Area.
Just called about 10 dealers, the least Markup for G63 is 35K. There is no way I am going to pay that kind of Markup.
For G550, one dear wants 5K, there is one dealer may go without Markup, I won't until go there and ready to buy.
Still prefer G63 if I can get it a close to MSRP, My max markup for G63 is 5K, please let me know if you know any dealer who is willing to charge that amount. I am willing to travel if the deal is there.
Thank you.

Dealers prefer to sell local so traveling will only result in higher ADM. Honestly $35k isn’t bad for a market like LA, but if it was my money I would buy the G550 for no markup and then get on their waitlist for a G63 at MSRP if they offer that…

Then what I am going to do the G550 after I get G63? hasn't the old car market crashed yet?

I can not comment about a G63 as I never inquired about it. I was interested in a G550.
After contacting many dealers, over a period of 2 months, I could not find a single one that would sell an in-stock G550 at MSRP or even take an order for MSRP without a markup. But persistence paid off when one local dealer agreed to sell an in-stock G550 for MSRP. I did not waste any time and picked it up within 2-3 hours. He said it was the first G class they were selling in over 2 years without a markup. I have no way to verify that claim, but it does appear to be true since no one wanted to sell even when I showed up at the dealership with 100% intent to buy. In fact no one wanted to sell for even when I offered $5K over MSRP.
I understand G63 is different, but I am so happy to have eluded the dreaded markup.
Moral of the story ... anything is possible ... but patience is key.
