My 2024 magno G63 is coming next month. I didn’t build it and because I didn’t know any better, I didn’t ask about the brush guard.
On the build sheet it just says C75 Brush Guard and I’m worried it’s going to be chrome. My dealer said he’s 99.99% sure it’ll match the magno, but based on the build guides I’m seeing, the C75 is chrome.

Is it different for 2024 and/or the G63?
Is night package, night package plus, or night package magno selected on the build? If not, it will be chrome.
Sounds like it’ll be chrome. If it’s any consolation it’s actually a matte silver not shiny chrome.
Easy to fix with powder coating but the lower valence and rear bumper pieces will still be chrome.
"Easy" is not exactly how I would describe it. I've done it twice, and taking them apart (and putting back together) is a bit of a PITA. Doable, for sure. With patience.
OP, silver on black actually looks pretty good. Kind of refreshing to see actually since most are blacked out. Chrome/brushed/polished wheels are also making a comeback since they haven't been as popular in past 15 or so years. I'm sure your new G will still look good.
Haha good point as I've never done it but relatively speaking it's "fixable" I guess is how I should have qualified it.
My 2022 had the silver brush guard on black and agree it's a nice change, but I still prefer the black bars on most colors other than white or silver.
I can’t live with myself if I see my magno roll off the trailer with a chrome guard.
Would it be better to facilitate powder coating prior to delivery if possible? Or should I buy a new black guard and have dealership swap before I take delivery?
Pull it off and have it powder coated. Then have it protected with PPF. Why purchase a very expensive grill that its replacement will sit around the garage for years to probably be thrown out. BTW, I resemble that statement.
I wouldn’t buy a new one. My guess is dealer won’t let you do it before delivery unless you pay a nice surcharge for them to source it out.
Call around to powder coating companies in your area and text/email them a picture of the brush guard and they will give you quotes. The pieces come apart.
Also be aware the night package magno brush guard is a matte black not a gloss black.

It won't be possible to get the one on it powder coated prior to delivery (unless you ask your dealer to facilitate that when it arrives at their dealership, and then I'd expect a one or two week wait for that to happen). Buying one to get done before the G arrives is an option, but as another noted you would end up with a guard sitting around in your garage that you don't have a use for. Where are you located? I have one that could be coated black (currently painted champagne gold), but shipping would make it a losing proposition. If you are in Houston, TX it might be something worth doing. And I'd consider taking your take-off guard after the fact. I don't mind storing an extra one since I tend to do color match on my wife's Gs when they come in, and I like to have everything ready to go when the truck arrives.
