2025 black running boards

For those planning on keeping their 19-24' G 63s, is anybody planning on ordering the 2025 oem black running boards? I know several people have powder coated or wrapped their existing running boards. I worry about the long term durability with those solutions. What about non-oem black running boards? I would be curious on the quality since most I see come from China.

Powder-coating is the most durable solution for parts. And I am not sure what will be available on the electric model but if Black running boards are offered I will get them.

they have been available for a while now (https://mbparts.mbusa.com/oem-parts/...d-463520770064). not sure why the left are slightly expensive than the right side ones :-(
would recommend staying away from the Chinese ones.

They will be less when ordered as part of a package. I may just wrap again, but just the sides this time.

I paid $150.00 to have the two sides wrapped black, I did not wrap the two top parts, so far so good. I have actually started stepping up into the G without even touching the running boards. My wife steps on the top but not the sides so I think the wrap will last, if not $150.00 is cheap to have them redone.

Although in the picture the top two silver strips appear to be black they are not. I only had the two side panels wrapped. There is no need what so ever to wrap the two top panels in my opinion.

If one is blacking out their vehicle you must black-out all the silver on the running boards, imo.
